Along the Bike Path...

By mowing instead of spraying we are getting some nice native species that self seed. This example is a small 'New Holland Daisy' - a grey plant with pretty little mauve flowers. They are one of several Vittadinias that grow around these parts - when mowing they have a similar colour to Horehound, so they create some 'whoops' moments!

They are starting to flower now, and their 'wooly' seeds spread easily, and can be easily collected.

We are not planning to propagate them, as it easier for us to simply spread their seeds
