Waiting for Rain!

Everyone is waiting for some moisture, but some of our native grasses seem to just keep growing anyway...

This is Scented Lemongrass growing by the Burra Railway Station all by itself!

We will be attempting to propagate at our nursery in the future - the Botanic Gardens says "Attractive grass with leaves that give off a strong lemon or citron odour when crushed. Excellent for using amongst rockery. Is drought resistant however has healthier appearance if given a little extra water" - but it has many uses.
