Re-work at Nursery on Friday 23rd February

Despite the heat, we managed to do some upgrading work at the nursery - we sorted some of the seedlings we have growing (some haven't made it through the heat) we are still on track to have a lot of babies ready for planting when the soil becomes wetter and softer.....

We are also working on making the place look nicer - this meant ripping up some of the old asphalt courts, ready to plant some native grasses and to construct a couple of above ground planting boxes.

All that digging and dust made us a bit thirsty, but the cooler weather arrived during that quenching!

Planting the right seed and seedlings should get this dusty clay off to a head start against the weeds!
